The techniques of mediumship, tuning into and translating subtle energies into words, are just as applicable to larger domestic animals as they are to people. Animals thoughts are just on a slightly different channel than human thought. It is actually much easier for me to communicate telepathically with animals than with humans: animals are easier to read because they are always completely genuine and their thoughts are of course comparatively much simpler than human thoughts. Most people's thoughts are very conceptual, often conflicting and are a blend of words along with judgement, ideas and sensory memories with attached emotions. Animal's thoughts are much more sensory and lack abstraction, judgement or negative emotions. Animals are however very much sentient beings with their own personalities, preferences and emotions. Time and distance don't matter, and I can read animals over the phone from any distance as well as in person.
Canine and Feline Readings Dogs have delightfully funny random thoughts, usually around their favorite places to go, things to eat and what other animals they like or don't like. Cats also fit into this category as they are clear thinkers and share with ease. Puppies, smaller animals and wild animals minds are almost entirely wired for perception and instinct and there is not much for me to translate unless we are dealing with health issues.
Dogs share a deep connection with humans and keenly reflect our energy back to us. For example, dog bites often result from a dog reacting to a human's fear of it, thinking something is wrong, and taking what it sees as appropriate action; it's ironic that the people that are most afraid of dogs are the most likely to get bitten! Separation anxiety in dogs is a very common problem I am contacted for. Separation anxiety is often just a reflection of household stress in the morning and through the day. If you get up, stressed and tired, hurry through your morning then leave your dog at home, you've essentially stressed out your dog and then left him or her all alone with no outlet to release the stress!
You are always sharing your energy with all living things around you, whether you want to or not. All animals, not just dogs, feel our energy very keenly and almost all pet behavior problems are a reflection of a problem in their human's life. The best thing you can do for your pet (and everyone else in your life) is to be as genuinely calm and happy as you can be, and think loving thoughts whenever you focus on your pet, whether you are physically together or not. I think this is especially true when your pet is sick or when it's time to say good bye. The more you can not think about your own fear and sadness and just focus on how wonderful your pet is and how much you love them, the easier it will be for your pet.
