You don't need to do anything specific to prepare for our sessions, and the most important thing is to relax, but if you'd like to get the most out of our time, here are a few suggestions:
Get clear on what you would like to accomplish during our session and how you would like to feel when the session is done. Writing out a list of questions you would like answered, topics you'd like to cover and/or people you'd like to talk to is helpful. I'm willing to entertain almost anything and see how far my connected mind can stretch. Writing out some life goals or things you'd like to accomplish can also be of benefit; if you're not on a path or haven't spent any time thinking about what you want your future to look like, I may not get much information about the possibilities for your future and instead be directed to solving what's in the way of this blocked creation. We don't have destinies until we begin creating them. The future is what you make it and the first step to a compelling future is thinking and day dreaming about what you truly want (and not what anyone else wants, what you should want or the reasons you think you can't have what you want).
For mediumship sessions, I strongly suggest making a chart with the months of the year down one column and the names of all your family members and close friends, dead or alive, listed next to their corresponding month of birth and/or death. That means that the people who have passed will be on your list twice. People's months of birth or death are the universal way that dead people reference and explain who they are, or who they are talking about. It's airy fairy I know, but it's how the process, works, no matter how I feel about it, and it is just a starting point. Mediumship is sort of like playing inter-dimensional charades. Figuring out who's talking, or who is being referenced, through identifying facts is the first step of the process, so feel free to jot down any notes, identifying events, characteristics, or questions for each of the people on your list. This process itself can be healing and enjoyable, especially if done with close family or friends. If you have a chart ready, it makes figuring out who's speaking or who someone on the other side is referring to much easier and faster. Try and have your list on hand during your reading, it really helps with the very common tendency to freeze up or go blank when I ask a question. Trust me when I say it saves time and makes things go a lot smoother. I can't tell you the number of times people have called me after a reading to tell me that they've figured out what a piece of information means and they can't believe they didn't put it together in the moment.
The best energy to bring to session is one of:
willingness to feel and share your feelings
willingness to think laterally as well as logically
openness to go where the information I'm getting takes us
Please be fair to yourself: Try and let go of specific expectations, you might miss having your expectations fulfilled in ways you never thought possible if you're only open to one version of how things are supposed to happen. Do your best to put aside fears and doubts until after our session when you can fairly analyze your session in it''s entirety as critically and thoroughly as you wish.
Prior to your reading I suggest taking a few minutes to sit quietly, preferably with no TV's or other distractions in the background. Feel yourself in your body and consciously relax as much as you can. The more you can bring yourself into a state of calm awareness, the more you will get out of the reading. If you're nervous, do something to release the nervous energy and soothe yourself whether it's singing, dancing, puttering in the kitchen or doing push-ups, whatever works for you. Most of all stay excited and let yourself smile! There is nothing to fear and so much good to experience!
Do you record the phone readings?
No, but you are welcome to from your end. There are a number of free smart phone apps for recording calls, please test out your recording method prior to our session to make sure it works.
I'm scared you'll see something "bad"?
I only look for information that resonates with the highest good, which means I don't look down negative life paths and never give dire warnings. I only look only for information that helps clients make conscious choices that keep them safe and thriving. I encourage all my clients to focus on what they want, not what they fear, as we tend to experience what we focus on.
How do you do what you do?
Physics teaches that everything in the universe is made of energy and information. Energy and information exists in many forms that we can't sense directly. For example, television and cell phone waves exist all around us, but we can only access them through mediums such as a television or wireless phones. There are other energies that scientists have not yet invented a medium to detect, but which all of us can sense to varying degrees. As a telepath, I focus on these subtle energies and translate them into words. The best way I can explain what I do is to say that, through meditation, I can alter my state of consciousness and create a sort of specifically tuned blank space in my mind where I know anything that shows up there isn't mine.
When I read as a medium, I communicate with energies that feel like people. When I say these energies feel like people, it's similar to the feeling you might get when someone walks in a room behind you and you know they are there without looking. When I communicate energetically with someone who has passed, they use images, feelings and sensory information all mingled together in what I call thought bubbles. The images they use sometimes have a specific meaning to me, sort of like dead people can access a Rolodex of meaningful images in my mind, other times, I'm just supposed to say what I see or feel. I'm a big fan of movies and dead people often use movie references as well to get a point or idea across. You can explain a lot with minimal words with a reference like 'I'm watching Nick Cannon in Drumline".
When I look for psychic information, sometimes it comes via the dead person I'm talking to (no matter who they were in life, they have a much wiser perspective in death and access to excellent guidance and information about the past, present and future). To get psychic information, I look or tune into different parts of the psychic space I've created in my mind, essentially wondering about what I want to know about or a question that is being asked to find and focus in on a subject. I am able to get information about almost anything, past, present, future and potential life paths. We can go as for down the rabbit hole as you like and I do tackle more esoteric subjects for those who are interested. I don't make these subjects a part of most sessions unless clients ask, although sometimes unusual things do come up all by themselves.
I use the connected mind concept plainly explain how consciousness works and to teach others how to access their own extra-ordinary abilities with as little new age, religious and scientific baggage as possible. Simply put, part of your mind is connected to everyone and everything. This connection is ubiquitous, instantaneous and non-local: distance doesn't matter. This is the part of you that you that is "one with everything", that you can experience through meditation or yogic practices. I call this part of the mind the connected mind.
Part of us is always "one with everything" and we are all giving and receiving information through our connected minds all the time. Without focus, the massive jumble of information we receive through our connected minds is overwhelming and unintelligible, so most of us have learned to tune out and ignore our connected minds. When we do happen to slip into our connected minds on occasion, we sometimes recognize the information we receive as intuition, inspiration, premonitions, connection, love or spiritual experience. Mostly though, we dismiss information from our connected minds as random thoughts, and drown it out by focusing on day to day worries. We choose to be unconscious of a sacred, massively intelligent and essential part of ourselves.
When we do quiet our thinking minds and tune into our connected minds with focus and intention, we find the source of our inspiration and creativity and can get certain kinds of useful information about anything, past present or future. We can also do a few other extra-ordinary things, such as communicate with other consciousnesses, including people who have passed and animals. I've spent years honing my connected mind skills and abilities. I've learned what information can be found through the connected mind and how this information can be used. I've also discovered that mediumship, animal telepathy, clairvoyance, intuition, psychic readings and a spectrum of other extra-ordinary abilities are all based on the same connected mind ability, the ability that is most commonly understood and referred to as telepathy. I now prefer the term telepath to psychic-medium or animal communicator. The term better explains the wide range of applications of what is really a natural and innate human ability, and our first language.
Why would I want to watch someone else be read?
My public group events are centered around mediumship. It is an incredible thing to witness and it challenges many people's concepts of what is possible; often forcing individuals to reconsider some of their strongest beliefs. This is why I loved speaking in the psychology department at the University of Western because the students have almost never experienced anything like it and it challenges their belief system every time.
What kind of questions can you answer in a private consultation?
You can ask me anything, although certain answers can seem to be blocked or avoided, likely because the answer would alter your reality in ways that your mind will not allow, or you are not energetically open to the answer. I haven't been accurate yet with answers to questions like "what are the next winning lottery numbers are going to be?". I have had success assisting people who already have knowledge or expertise and can use my connected mind to get useful information. I've had clients who have had success working with me to pick stocks and create mathematical tools to time the market for example, but you usually have to already know what you're doing to make psychic information about such things useful. If you're wondering if my connected mind might be useful to your endeavors or personal situation, then book a consultation with me, we can poke around so to speak and figure it out. If you are developing your own connected mind abilities, I'm happy to provide you with private one on one help to enhance them.
How can you read by phone?
Distance is not a factor. I've read people and animals over the phone as far away as the Philippines and Japan. Thought and consciousness exist outside of space and time, which is why I can access information about the past and future. I would guess that ninety percent of my readings are via telephone, which does not affect the quality of the reading in any way. If it did, I wouldn't even bother. In fact, it enhances the authenticity for some people because they know that the information I'm providing isn't based on reading things such as facial expressions or body language.
Do you do hypnosis or past life regressions?
I don't offer hypnosis as a service at the present time. I do sometimes use hypnosis and other methodologies with some of my coaching clients in certain situations.
Do you do energy healing?
No, I wouldn't call myself an energy healer. I can and do scan bodies psychically to look for emerging health issues and I often get information on how people can take better care of their health. I often get information around what and how various habits and emotional issues are manifesting, or will manifest as health issues. I do check every horse and dog I work with for discomfort and physical ailments (it's only fair that we all do our best to keep our animals comfortable, health and happy).
